UPSC Civil Service and Public Civil Service

A new generation of Indians is increasingly attracted to the civil service, and this fact is confirmed by the fact that every year the number of UPSC applicants on the board of directors increases.

UPSC is the latest, but not everyone is lucky. That's why people are trying their hand in public service. Selection Process

The selection process is different for both the services. Although a person will serve his country, in the end the recruitment process is not the same.

Selection in IAS

Here officers are appointed and recruited by central level officers. There is an exam going on, which is called UPSC (Union Public Service Commission). The Central Government of India has established CAT (Central Administrative Court) which is responsible for exercising the powers and authority of civil servants in the country.

Selection in PCS

The officers of the administrative departments of the state government are appointed and employed by the state government. An examination is being conducted, which is called SPSC (State Public Service Commission). For this, the state government of India has established the SAT (State Administrative Court) which is responsible for exercising the powers, faculties and service matters of the state officials. There is an SAT in every state.

Appointment 

Who appoints the best basis for difference between civil services and UPSC? The officers of the State and the Union are not appointed by the same authority. There are established procedures and protocols for the appointment of public servants at both the state and central levels. Since they serve in various government departments, their appointments are done accordingly.

Objective of IAS

The officers of the Central Government of India work for the benefit of the state, district or city assigned to them, but are directly appointed by the office of the President of India.

PCS Objectives

The officers of the state government are under the complete control of the state officials and work according to the policies and directions of the state government. Civil servants are appointed by the governor of the state
